Ica, Peru

Last week I arrived in Lima, Peru for the second time this year. This time around is a little different since it is summer here, thank goodness for the southern hemisphere! Peru is a beautiful and diverse country. It has the Amazon rainforest, part of the Andes Mountains range, beaches, the iconic Machu Picchu and my favorite, deserts! It is an adventure seekers dream. My boyfriend and I ventured three hours south of Lima, to the region of Ica. Once in Ica, we were able to take a sand buggy into the desert to watch the sunset and take some pretty pictures! You can even sand board down the dunes if you are up to it. We attempted this last time around but failed miserably. Hope you enjoy!
